Primary Teaching Assistants required South LondonSeptember start£95-110 per day
Veritas Education is partnering with primary schools across South London to recruit dedicated and adaptable Primary Teaching Assistants. This is an exciting opportunity to develop valuable classroom experience, supporting students' learning, building their confidence, and making a meaningful impact on their educational journey. Roles are full-time, term-time only, and available to start in September.
As a Primary Teaching Assistant your responsibilities will include:
Supporting students in achieving their academic goals and reaching their full potentialEncouraging students to engage proactively with their learning and develop independenceEnsuring a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for children to learn and thriveAssisting the class teacher with behaviour management, promoting positive behaviour, and supporting general learning and developmentSupporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), ensuring their individual learning needs are met and they feel included in the classroomDemonstrating good presentation and clear articulation skills to assist with communication and understandingThe ideal candidate will:
Have experience working with children or young people, ideally in an educational settingHave experience supporting students with learning difficulties and special educational needsHold a relevant qualification or degree in a related field, e.g. childhood studies, education, or psychology (ideal)Be patient, adaptable, and able to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionalsHave strong communication skills and the ability to motivate and support students effectivelyIf you wish to be considered please respond to this advert by sending your up to date CV
