An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and passionate Upper Key Stage 2 Teacher to join a well-regarded primary school in the Ribble Valley. This role also offers the potential for Additional Teaching Responsibilities (TLR), with a focus on Maths Leadership. Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the Upper Key Stage 2 curriculum.
  • Lead and support the development of the school's maths program (if appointed with TLR).
  • Assess, monitor, and evaluate student progress, providing targeted support where necessary.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Foster strong relationships with parents, carers, and the wider school community.

    • Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in Upper Key Stage 2.
  • Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum, particularly in Maths.
  • Proven leadership skills or experience, with an interest in leading Maths (TLR opportunity).
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
