Veritas Education is seeking a passionate Primary Teacher to teach a mixed EYFS and Key Stage 1 class from January 2027.

This is an opportunity for a teacher who enjoys helping young children develop confidence, curiosity and strong foundations for learning. You will bring a creative approach to teaching and understand how to meet the different developmental needs of pupils across EYFS and KS1.

The role

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that support progression across EYFS and Key Stage 1.

  • Create a welcoming, inclusive classroom where every child feels supported.

  • Assess pupils' progress and adapt teaching to their individual needs.

  • Support early language, phonics, literacy and numeracy development.

  • Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.

  • The ideal candidate

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

  • Has a sound understanding of the EYFS framework and Key Stage 1 curriculum.

  • Can differentiate learning effectively within a mixed-age class.

  • Demonstrates strong classroom management and a nurturing approach.

  • Is committed to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare.
