PRIMARY SEN Teaching Assistant - SEN School - Lambeth Start: ASAP Contract: Long term Pay: £100 to £120 per day (depending on experience)

A supportive and well-established SEN School in Lambeth is looking for a dedicated Primary SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible. This long-term role is ideal for someone with strong experience supporting pupils with special educational needs.

About the role:

  • Supporting primary-aged pupils with a range of SEN, including ASD, MLD, SLD and complex needs
  • Working one-to-one and in small groups to deliver tailored learning support
  • Assisting teachers with structured activities and personalised learning plans
  • Supporting pupils with communication, emotional regulation and daily routines
  • Helping track progress and contributing to EHCP targets

    • Requirements:

  • Experience working with SEN pupils is essential
  • Understanding of SEN strategies, communication systems or behaviour support
  • Positive, patient and proactive approach
  • Ability to build strong, supportive relationships with pupils and staff
  • Commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
