Are you passionate about supporting children in their learning and development?

We are working closely with a number of welcoming and inclusive primary schools across Kirklees and Wakefield who are looking to appoint dedicated Teaching Assistants and Support Staff to join their teams immediately.

The Role

In this rewarding role, you will:

  • Provide classroom support across Early Years, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2
  • Work alongside class teachers to create a positive, engaging and inclusive learning environment
  • Support pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN), including 1:1 support and small group interventions
  • Assist with daily classroom activities, helping pupils to reach their full potential

    • We are keen to hear from candidates who have:

  • Previous experience working in schools or supporting children and young people in any capacity (desirable but not essential)
  • A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach to supporting learning
  • A genuine passion for helping pupils thrive, particularly those with SEN or additional needs
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team
