Primary Educator (KS1)

Location: Wakefield Start Date: Easter Contract: Long-term (with potential for extension)

We are working with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Wakefield who are seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary Educator to join their team in a Key Stage 1 class on a long-term basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a committed teacher who enjoys nurturing young learners, creating engaging lessons, and making a real difference during the crucial early stages of a child's education.

The Role

As a KS1 Primary Educator, you will:

  • Deliver creative and inclusive lessons in line with the KS1 National Curriculum
  • Create a safe, positive, and stimulating learning environment
  • Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development
  • Assess, track, and report on pupil progress
  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, colleagues, and parents
  • The Ideal Candidate

    We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds QTS (or equivalent recognised teaching qualification)
  • Has experience teaching in Key Stage 1
  • Demonstrates strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Is enthusiastic, adaptable, and committed to high-quality teaching
  • Has a genuine passion for supporting young children's learning
