Veritas Education is pleased to be working in partnership with a friendly and community-focused primary school in Swanley to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Class Teacher for an Easter 2026 start.

The successful candidate will take full responsibility for a class, delivering high-quality, well-structured lessons that promote academic progress, confidence, and a love of learning.

This role would suit a teacher who is passionate about primary education, enjoys creating engaging and purposeful learning experiences, and is committed to helping children develop strong foundations in literacy, numeracy, and independent learning.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
  • Experience teaching in a UK primary school setting (ECTs welcome to apply)
  • Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum and effective assessment practices
  • A nurturing and patient approach with high expectations for all pupils
  • Excellent classroom management and organisational skills

  • Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons in line with the primary curriculum
  • Creating a structured, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
  • Assessing, tracking, and supporting pupil progress to ensure positive outcomes
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents
