Location: Lewisham, South London Position: Primary Class Teacher Start Date: December 2025 Pay: £3,500 - £4,500 per month

Veritas Education is delighted to be working with a warm, community-driven primary school in Lewisham to recruit a passionate and dedicated Primary Class Teacher to join their team from December 2025.

This OFSTED-rated 'Good' school is widely recognised for its inclusive ethos, engaging curriculum, and strong commitment to helping every child reach their full academic and personal potential. The successful candidate will be responsible for a primary class, delivering high-quality, inspiring lessons that nurture curiosity, independence, and a lifelong love of learning.

This role is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic, motivated teacher who enjoys creating dynamic lessons, building strong relationships with pupils and their families, and contributing positively to the wider school community.

The Ideal Primary Class Teacher Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential

  • Experience teaching in a primary school (desirable, but ECTs are warmly encouraged to apply)

  • A strong understanding of the primary curriculum and assessment expectations

    • Main Responsibilities Include:

  • Planning and delivering engaging, well-structured lessons across the primary curriculum

  • Creating a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment where all pupils can thrive

  • Monitoring, assessing, and recording pupil progress to inform effective teaching practice
