Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to)

  • Collaborates with the Precinct Lead, Principal, providing strategic leadership in the financial management of all the precinct schools 

  • Provides advice and coaching to the College Principal on financial management matters 

  • Provides the Precinct Lead and Principal with analysis, insights and clear recommendations to enhance the Financial Viability of the College/Precinct 

  • Ensures sound resource planning, coordinates, prepares and monitors annual College/Precinct budgets and medium to long term financial planning 

  • Manages all statutory non-curricular administrative and financial  

  • Ensures compliance with non-curriculum requirements for College/Precinct/System registration and funding 

  • Provides high level support and advice to the Precinct Lead and Principal on administrative matters compliance areas 

  • Develops and manages the building, plant, and site maintenance program¿ 

  • Supervises and maintains the College/Precinct cleaning program¿ 

  • Develops, maintains, and implements effective processes and procedures to manage and minimise risk¿ 

  • Manages all statutory non-curricular building, facilities, and maintenance compliance areas¿ 

  • Manages the day-to-day maintenance and cleaning needs of the College/Precinct, including engagement and supervision of trades people and maintenance contractors

  • Leads, in close collaboration with the CSBB Community Engagement Manager, the College Principal and Precinct Lead, the promotion of the school/precinct to drive enrolments

This is a newly created role is responsible for the safe, efficient and financially sustainable running of the Northern Beaches Precinct, College campus and other support services including managing Precinct/College support staff (who do not directly support classroom activities) and contractors. An understanding of systemic schools would be essential in succeeding in this role.
