Key Responsibilities

 

  • Supports the coordination of Precinct Teaching and Professional Learning programs and events
  • Proactively assists in the preparation, editing, and timely distribution of accurate correspondence and any documentation relating to curriculum administration including course changes and course/assessment handbooks
  • Management of curriculum requirements including adding student NESA numbers, the set-up of learning tasks and reports in Compass
  • Maintain Student Reporting period set up including course outlines, subject specific approach to learning and general approach to learning. Provide clerical assistance in the preparation, editing and distribution of student reports
  • Maintain Key Learning Area Markbook and formal assessment Compliance
  • Provide administrative support for NAPLAN, PAT and other diagnostic testing
  • Proactively respond to the NESA Timetable of Actions. Communicate in a timely manner deadlines with relevant KLA Leaders and subject teachers.
  • Supports the management of NESA online by updating student courses, student enrolments, student NESA numbers, student ID photos, rolling students over each year, students ROSA, contact new students last school for their ROSA/NESA information
  • Promptly and accurately update and maintain student course information in the NESA website
  • Check that students who wish to get an ATAR are enrolled in correct courses in NESA. Cross reference students enrolled subjects with subject change request forms
  • Compass Chronicles maintenance, including student behaviour, attendance, house points and awards

This is a newly created role designed to work alongside Leaders of Learning, and other Senior Executive staff ensuring the accuracy and consistency of curriculum practices with the Precinct and College. The successful candidate will be highly organised with string communication skills and attention to detail. Working knowledge of curriculum and the education system as a whole would be greatly beneficial.
