PPA Teacher Required - Lancaster Area Start Date: January 2027

Veritas Education are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic PPA Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in the Lancaster area from January 2027.

This is a part-time position (3 days per week, Tuesday to Thursday) for a minimum of one term, with the potential for the role to continue beyond this period.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons across a range of year groups, from EYFS through to KS2, providing high-quality cover during teachers' Planning, Preparation and Assessment (PPA) time. In addition, you will be entitled to 1.5 hours of your own PPA time each week.

The Role:

  • 3 days per week (Tuesday to Thursday)
  • January 2027 start
  • Minimum one-term commitment
  • Teaching across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
  • Delivering pre-planned lessons and maintaining positive learning environments
  • 1.5 hours weekly PPA time included
  • The Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching within primary schools
  • Confident working across different age groups
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Flexible, adaptable and enthusiastic approach to teaching
