We are looking for a teacher who can deliver engaging PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, inspire students of all abilities, and contribute to the wider sporting life of the school.

The Role

As a PE Teacher, you will:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality PE lessons that engage and challenge students.
  • Teach practical and theoretical aspects of Physical Education across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Assess, monitor, and track student progress effectively.
  • Foster a positive learning environment that encourages participation and achievement.
  • Promote health, fitness, teamwork, and personal development through sport.
  • Contribute to extracurricular sports clubs, fixtures, and school events.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to raise standards across the department.

    We are looking for someone who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Has experience teaching PE within a secondary school setting.
  • Demonstrates strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
  • Has excellent subject knowledge and a passion for physical education.
  • Can motivate and inspire students to develop confidence and achieve their best.
  • Is committed to delivering outstanding teaching and learning.
  • Enjoys contributing to the wider school community through extracurricular activities.

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Two professional references covering the last two years.
