PE Teacher - Full-Time, Long-Term Placement

Location: Bradford Start Date: January 2026 Salary: Paid to Scale

Veritas Education is working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in the Bradford area to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic PE Teacher for a full-time, long-term role starting in January.

About the Role: We are seeking a passionate PE specialist who can deliver engaging and inclusive lessons across KS3 and KS4. The successful candidate will:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality PE lessons in line with the national curriculum
  • Take full responsibility for planning, marking, and assessment
  • Organise and lead extracurricular sports activities and fixtures
  • Promote health, fitness, and wellbeing among students
  • Maintain high standards of classroom management and behaviour
  • Work collaboratively with the department and wider school team

    • Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Strong subject knowledge in Physical Education
  • DBS on the Update Service is essential
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
