This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive and forward-thinking school, teaching within Upper Key Stage 2 and making a meaningful impact on pupils during a crucial stage of their learning. The role is ideal for both ECTs and experienced teachers seeking a part-time position, with salary offered on the Main or Upper Pay Scale (pro rata) depending on experience.

The Role:

  • Part-time Year 5 Class Teacher (days to be confirmed)

  • Planning and delivering engaging, high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum

  • Supporting pupils' academic, social, and emotional development

  • Using assessment effectively to inform planning and track progress

  • Creating a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment

  • Working collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and support staff

  • The Ideal Candidate:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Has experience teaching Year 5 or Upper Key Stage 2 (including training placements)

  • Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and effective classroom management

  • Is enthusiastic, adaptable, and committed to pupil progress

  • Has excellent communication and teamwork skills
