Summary
The Rockhampton Grammar School is seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Outdoor Education Teacher who has the ability to contribute to our Outdoor Education Programme in Term 1, 2025. As an Outdoor Education Teacher, you will provide support to the Head of Outdoor Education to facilitate all aspects of the Outdoor Education programme, in addition to teaching in subject areas relevant to the teacher’s training and experience. The School’s beach-front outdoor education facility, Ritamada, is set on 76-acres along the glorious Capricorn Coast. The Centre has evolved to form the backbone of the School’s Outdoor Education programme, taking students away from the routine of the classroom and extending their learning into the great outdoors. Courses and activities ranging from challenging high ropes courses to sea kayaking are conducted within a challenge-by-choice philosophy and an atmosphere of encouragement, support and fun.
