Nursery Practitioner - Qualified or Unqualified Location: Wakefield Employer: Veritas Education

Veritas Education is recruiting for Nursery Practitioners to join a friendly and supportive nursery in Wakefield. This opportunity is open to both qualified (Level 2/3) practitioners and unqualified candidates who have experience working with children in a childcare setting.

The nursery provides a warm and welcoming environment where children are supported to learn, play, and develop through engaging activities and positive relationships with staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support children's learning and development through play-based activities

  • Help create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment

  • Work in line with the EYFS framework and safeguarding procedures

  • Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues

    • Requirements

  • Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification or experience working in a nursery, preschool, or childcare setting

  • A caring, patient, and positive attitude

  • Good communication and teamwork skills

  • Understanding of child development and safeguarding (or willingness to learn)
