Veritas Education is proud to be working with a lovely independent nursery in Wetherby to recruit an enthusiastic and experienced Room Leader to join their friendly early years team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Level 3 practitioner looking to take the next step in their career within a warm, supportive, and child-centred nursery setting. The nursery offers a welcoming environment where both children and staff are encouraged to thrive.

As a Room Leader, you will oversee the day-to-day running of the room, support children's learning and development, and lead a small team to create a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading the daily operations of the nursery room
  • Planning activities in line with the EYFS framework
  • Supporting children's learning and development
  • Leading and supporting practitioners within the room
  • Building positive relationships with children, parents, and staff
  • Following safeguarding and health & safety procedures

    • Requirements:

  • Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential)
  • Previous Room Leader or senior nursery experience
  • Good understanding of the EYFS framework
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Passionate about early years education and childcare
