Veritas Education is currently recruiting Nursery Practitioners for welcoming nursery settings across the YO31 area of York.

We are looking for both qualified and unqualified practitioners. Whether you hold a Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification, or you have previous experience working with children, we'd love to hear from you.

With both part-time and full-time work available, this is a great opportunity to find a role that suits your availability while gaining valuable experience within supportive nursery teams.

The role:

  • Supporting children's learning and development through play
  • Creating a safe, caring and stimulating environment
  • Building positive relationships with children and staff
  • Supporting daily routines, activities and learning
  • Encouraging children's confidence and independence
  • Working as part of a friendly nursery team
  • Following EYFS and safeguarding procedures

    • We're looking for:

  • Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification is preferred
  • Unqualified candidates with childcare or Early Years experience are welcome
  • A caring, reliable and enthusiastic approach
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • A genuine passion for working with young children
