We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Nursery Manager to join a thriving, Ofsted-rated Good independent nursery in Bradford. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who is confident with administration, scheduling, and invoicing, and who is passionate about leading a small, dedicated team to provide outstanding care and education for children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day management of the nursery, ensuring high standards of care and education.
  • Manage administrative tasks including scheduling, invoicing, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Support and lead a team of early years practitioners, providing guidance and professional development.
  • Monitor the nursery's compliance with Ofsted regulations, health and safety policies, and safeguarding requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers, providing regular updates on children's progress.
  • Ensure smooth operation of nursery activities and maintain an effective and positive environment for both children and staff.
  • Handle all financial aspects including invoicing and budgeting, ensuring the nursery operates efficiently and within budget.
  • Essential Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Nursery Manager or in a similar leadership role within an early years setting.
  • Strong background in administrative duties, including scheduling, invoicing, and maintaining records.
  • Confidence in managing a small, independent nursery and leading a team effectively.
  • A good understanding of Ofsted regulations and early years frameworks.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • A passion for working with children and a commitment to delivering high-quality care and education.
  • Desirable:

  • A Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or similar (desirable but not essential).
  • Experience working in a small, independent nursery setting is an advantage.
