Nursery Manager - Temp to Perm

Location: Blackburn (BB2) Contract: Temporary to Permanent Salary: £36,000 per annum (negotiable based on experience) Start Date: Immediate

About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Nursery Manager to lead a private nursery in Blackburn. It is a fantastic opportunity to shape the nursery and create an outstanding environment for children and staff. The role will start on a temporary basis with the view to becoming permanent.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day running of the nursery, ensuring compliance with Ofsted standards.
  • Lead and motivate a dedicated team to deliver outstanding childcare and education.
  • Maintain high standards of safeguarding, health & safety, and operational excellence.
  • Manage budgets, occupancy, and staff rotas effectively.
  • Build strong relationships with parents, staff, and external agencies.

    • Requirements:

  • Proven experience managing an Ofsted-registered nursery achieving Good or Outstanding ratings.
  • Minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification (Level 5 or equivalent desirable).
  • Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of EYFS and statutory requirements.
