Their Early Years Provision is a dynamic and exciting place to work, combining both Nursery and Reception classes, with a free-flowing, montessory-style approach to learning. This highly regarded primary school has a strong commitment to nurturing its young learners in a supportive and inclusive environment.

    Job Description:

    As a Nursery Assistant, you will work alongside the Early Years team, supporting children in both Nursery and Reception. Your role will include assisting with classroom activities, ensuring a safe and stimulating learning environment, and providing individualized support to help children develop both academically and socially.

    Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the delivery of the Early Years curriculum in the combined Nursery and Reception class.
  • Assist with the planning and preparation of learning activities.
  • Help create a nurturing, positive, and engaging classroom environment.
  • Provide individualized support for children, promoting their development and well-being.
  • Work closely with teachers to monitor and assess children's progress.
  • Ensure the safety and welfare of children at all times.
  • Maintain effective communication with staff, parents, and carers.
  • Essential Requirements:

  • Prior experience working with children, ideally within the Early Years or Education sector.
  • A passion for supporting young children's learning and development.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with others.
  • Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • A positive and proactive attitude to work.
