Leeds & Wakefield | Two Established Nurseries + New LS7 Opening

Are you an experienced Nursery Manager ready to take the next step in your career?

We're recruiting for an Area Manager to oversee two successful nursery settings across Leeds and Wakefield, while supporting the exciting launch of a brand-new nursery in LS7.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a unique, independent nursery group that is passionate about delivering exceptional childcare. With a strong Forest School ethos, outdoor learning and a love of nature are at the heart of the nursery's approach. Children are encouraged to explore, learn, and develop confidence through meaningful experiences both indoors and outdoors.

Working closely with the owner, you'll support and develop Nursery Managers, helping them lead successful teams while ensuring high standards of care, education, and wellbeing are maintained across all settings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and mentor Nursery Managers across multiple sites
  • Oversee the day-to-day running and performance of the nurseries
  • Assist with the opening and development of the new LS7 setting
  • Maintain high standards of childcare, safeguarding, and compliance
  • Support recruitment, staff development, and team engagement
  • Work collaboratively with the owner to drive growth and success

    • What We're Looking For

  • Previous Nursery Management or Multi-Site Management experience
  • Strong knowledge of EYFS and safeguarding requirements
  • A positive, supportive leadership style
  • Excellent communication and people-management skills
  • A passion for developing teams and delivering outstanding childcare
