About the role - As a dynamic and innovative member of our school community, you will:
- Create a nurturing and ordered learning environment which is learner-centred, safe, supportive, co-operative and aligned with relevant curriculum, policies and practices
- Collaborate with your peers to develop and implement quality curriculum programs and appropriate pedagogy

About you - To be successful in this role you will bring relevant qualifications and contemporary teaching experience in teaching Music, as well as:
- Experience and enthusiasm for working in a Catholic Primary School setting
- Be able to work as part of a dynamic team, planning, assessing, and working with class teachers from Prep to Year 6
- Able to work with the school choir
- Experience as a Primary Music teacher would be an advantage
- Commitment to child safety
- Exemplary communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated competence against the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers across professional knowledge, practice and engagement.

- Accreditation/eligibility to teach Religious Education in Catholic Schools
- Well-developed communication and organisational skills, and the ability to work as part of a team
- An ability to effectively integrate learning technology in the classroom.
- Skills to co-operatively plan learning programs with teaching colleagues
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with staff, parents and children
- Familiarity with the Australian curriculum and evidence of successful implementation.
At BCE our teachers are required to:
- Hold a current Queensland College of Teachers registration; and
- Be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.

If this role does not require you to teach Religious Education, you do not need to be Catholic.
We support all teachers with Accreditation to Teach pathways after you start with us.
