Music Teacher Pay: £25+ an hourPart-Time/ Term Time onlyIlford

We are seeking a passionate and resilient Music Teacher to join our team for 3.5 hours every Friday. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who believes in the power of music to build confidence, support emotional expression, and create positive learning experiences.

You will deliver engaging, practical music lessons to small groups of pupils with SEMH needs, adapting your teaching to meet a range of abilities and emotional needs

Music Teacher Role:

  • Plan and deliver creative, differentiated music lessons

  • Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils

  • Support pupils' emotional regulation and engagement through music

  • Work collaboratively with the wider staff team

  • Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment

    • Music Teacher Requirements:

  • Has experience teaching music (QTS desirable but not essential)

  • Understands the needs of pupils with SEMH

  • Is patient, calm, and able to build strong rapport

  • Can adapt teaching approaches to meet individual needs

  • Brings creativity, enthusiasm, and a trauma-informed mindset
