Veritas Education are working in partnership with a welcoming and forward-thinking secondary school in the Castleford area who are seeking a passionate Music Teacher to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled practitioner who can inspire and engage pupils across KS3 and KS4, promoting a love of music both in and out of the classroom.
About the Role
Deliver high-quality Music lessons in line with the national curriculum.Plan, prepare, and assess learning to ensure pupils make strong progress.Contribute to the wider school community, including extracurricular activities, performances, and enrichment opportunities.Work collaboratively with the department to maintain high standards of teaching and learning.Follow school policies and uphold the safeguarding and welfare of all pupils.About You
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.Strong subject knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for Music education.Ability to plan and deliver creative, engaging lessons that meet the needs of learners.Strong classroom management and a commitment to maintaining a positive learning environment.An understanding of safeguarding procedures in line with the Department for Education standards.What the School Offers
