We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teaching Assistant to join a thriving secondary school in Brent. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about supporting students in achieving their full potential in Mathematics.
As a Maths TA, you will work closely with the Maths department, supporting students across KS3 and KS4. Your role will involve providing one‑to‑one and small‑group intervention, reinforcing class learning, and helping to raise attainment.
Key Responsibilities
Support Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4Deliver targeted intervention sessions to boost student progressAssist with classroom management and preparation of learning materialsWork closely with teachers to identify and support students with additional learning needsProvide consistent encouragement, motivation, and feedback to pupilsHelp maintain a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environmentRequirements
A Degree in a Maths based subject (Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science etc)Strong understanding of Maths up to GCSEPrevious experience working with young people (school, tutoring or mentoring experience ideal)Excellent communication and relationship‑building skillsReliable, proactive, and committed to helping students succeedAbility to motivate and support learners of all abilities Ideal For:
