FisherONE is the online learning environment for Brisbane Catholic Education operating out of St John Fisher College in Bracken Ridge, Brisbane. It is designed to meet the needs of Year 11 and Year 12 students who have difficulty accessing specific subjects at their current school and are seeking an online learning option that is delivered with the care, understanding, and connection in a Catholic community.

 
The Marketing and Comms Senior Officer is responsible for providing effective and efficient technical and administrative services to the school leadership team in a wide variety of tasks and activities to maintain and enhance school operations.

You will coordinate and develop a range of tasks, provide advice, training and support to others and identify and implement process improvement opportunities.


Accountabilities:
  • Provide operational marketing and communication support and advice on a diverse range of matters including social media, websites, apps and print material.
  • Develop and/or administer processes and procedures and respond to relevant enquiries.
  • Review and develop local systems and provide recommendations for enhancement.
  • Monitor service delivery to identify efficiencies and ensure compliance with government and departmental legislation, directives, policies and standards and ensuring relevant websites and print media are current and accessible.
  • Promote service delivery efficiencies and ensure compliance with governmental and departmental legislation, directives, policies and standards.
  • Facilitate work to meet deadlines and commitments and to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Supervise and train support staff as required to ensure efficient and effective service delivery of events, key celebrations and regular marketing and communication activities.
  • Flexible work requirements (Wilston, Mt Gravatt & WFH)

Mandatory Requirements:
  • Eligibility to work within Australia for the period of appointment.
  • Currently hold or ability to obtain Paid Employee Positive Blue Card prior to commencement.
  • Current/valid Queensland Driver's Licence, if required.
Qualifications:
Relevant certifications and/or experience would be highly regarded.


To be eligible to be considered for this role you will:

  • Hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement;
  • Be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment; and
  • Have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education.
