About the Role:

  • Lead a regional, coordinated approach to building and sustaining school-industry partnerships aligned to local skills shortage areas and emerging workforce priorities.
  • Collaborate with DTET, TAFE Queensland, Chambers of Commerce, industry associations, local universities and employers to strengthen local pipelines for employment and training.
  • Facilitate a Regional Industry Liaison Officer network and a Regional Trades Training Centre network to share best practice, align strategic planning, and promote regional consistency across initiatives.
  • Partner with regional teams, school leaders and Senior Schooling teams to build capability, share data insights, and align pathways strategies with student needs.
  • Contribute to the statewide RSIP network by sharing innovation, supporting system development, and expanding opportunities for Queensland students.
