About You:
In this varied and busy role, you will make your mark by:
- Providing high-level, practical and definitive policy, strategic and operational advice in relation to the department's privacy management and compliance with the Information Privacy Act 2009 and associated Queensland Privacy Principles and its statutory obligations under relevant privacy frameworks.
- Using your extensive knowledge of current State and Federal privacy legislation, along with excellent research and analytical skills to investigate, manage, and respond to privacy matters including, but not limited to, privacy assessments, breaches and complaints, requests for advice, and the development and delivery of privacy training.
- Leading a team of privacy professionals in the provision of advice on a broad range of complex privacy matters.
The Manager reports to the Director, Privacy and Safer Technologies, Digital Innovation Division.
