About the Role:

Within the scope of the Responsibilities in the Role Description, the Manager, ICT Resources and Initiatives is responsible for the delivery of the Student Technology Equity Partnership initative.

This includes:

  • Managing human, physical and financial resources to maximise the efficiency, effectiveness and performance of the directorate in line with policy and procedural requirements.
  • Planning, directing, scheduling, monitoring, and reporting on the team's activities, ensuring appropriate and effective governance arrangements and comprehensive reporting and communication processes are used to realise business benefits within agreed timeframes.
  • Developing and implementing cohesive data collection and analysis mechanisms to enable insight-based strategic and operational decision making and business improvement.
  • Ensuring customer-centricity within the delivery model by building long-term, strategic relationships with stakeholders, leading the development of comprehensive stakeholder management strategies and plans, and facilitating the engagement of stakeholders in support of the delivery of services and change projects.
  • Prepare and review materials, correspondence, reports and other documentation for senior departmental officers, boards, committees, government agencies, customers and stakeholders on matters related to the services and systems supported by the Customer Engagement unit.

About You

The ideal applicant will:

  • Have strong knowledge of school business operations and have a track record supporting IT enabled school improvement programs
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills and demonstrated experience representing customer needs in a variety of forums, including with senior leaders
  • Have demonstrated experience managing multiple, competing priorities and leading with focus and optimism in an environment of complexity and ambiguity
  • Have strong knowledge of Information and Technology Branch's products and services
  • Enjoy working with a diverse team to deliver outcomes and make a positive impact in education.
