This is an exciting opportunity for you to contribute to the upkeep of our facilities while being part of a team that truly values a strong sense of belonging.
As a Maintenance Officer, you will assist our Grounds & Facilities Coordinator, to play a key role in ensuring our facilities are safe, well-maintained, and visually appealing. Your responsibilities will include a range of tasks such as furniture repairs, lock/door/hinge adjustments, furniture assembly, classroom furniture relocation, set up and pack down of events, supervision of tradesmen, minor plumbing/tap repairs, indoor plant care, removal of pests/insects, patching small holes and painting, external deck and playground maintenance. Your work will contribute to creating a welcoming and pleasant environment for all members of our community.

The successful applicant must hold or be willing to apply for a Qld Government (Blue Card) and have the right to work in Australia for the duration of tenure. Whilst formal qualifications are not required, appllicants with trade skills and experience or qualifictions in the building industry would have an advantage.
