ELTHAM College is seeking an enthusiastic and hard-working, experienced Maintenance Officer to join the Maintenance Team. If you have the skills and confidence with undertaking repairs, maintenance and  improvements around the grounds and buildings, please read on.

This is a full-time, ongoing position.

ELTHAM College is an independent co-educational school located in the Nillumbik Shire, on ninety-eight acres, in the northeast of Melbourne. ELTHAM College grows the heart and mind of each child. The Maintenance Officer supports the College community, including staff and students, to ensure that equipment, facilities, and infrastructure are accessible and always well maintained. They comply with the College's strategic intent with the goal/s and key activities as articulated for the Maintenance Team.

What you bring to the role:

  • Appropriate qualifications for the role (Carpentry qualification highly desirable)
  • General maintenance experience, skills and ability
  • Thorough understanding of OH & S regulations
  • Demonstrated initiative with maintenance duties
  • Competency in the use of equipment is pertinent to the role
  • Demonstrated ability to work alone, and as part of a team
  • Must be willing to obtain a WWCC and a National Police Check
