  • Pay: £12 - £13 an Hour
  • Hours: 11am - 2pm, Monday to Friday
  • Contract: Long-term, Full-time

    About the Lunchtime Sports Coach role: This amazing Lunchtime Sports Coach role is focused on providing fun and safe activities during lunchtime. You will be running small games and sports for the children, enabling them to explore and develop their skills. Having knowledge of a wide range of games and sports will be advantageous. You will also be responsible for the care and supervision of each child, ensuring that behaviour is monitored and reported back to class teachers.

    Key Responsibilities for Lunchtime Sports Coach:

  • Run small games/sports for children during lunchtime
  • Provide a safe environment for all
  • Work together with other members of staff to ensure child welfare is maintained
  • Help to develop skills and access to sport
  • Feedback to class teachers and help to monitor student behaviour

    • Requirements for the Lunchtime Sports Coach

  • Have a background in sports and activity leadership
  • Experience working within the education sector is desired
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting children's development
  • An enhanced DBS on the online update service is desired but not necessary
