About the Role
As the Link and Launch Coordinator, you will oversee the delivery of the school-based Link and Launch program, engaging with local agencies, support services, training providers, business and industry partners to maximise opportunities and secure pathways for Year 12 completers at risk of not transitioning to further work or study.
You will:
- foster partnerships with local training, higher education and employment providers;
- provide practical assistance to young people to access required services to remove barriers to their engagement;
- market the service and undertake events and initiatives to raise the profile of the role within the school and broader community;
- work across a number of local schools to ensure Year 12 students are aware of the transition support available upon leaving school; and
- provide and develop guidance for young people engaged in the program, including identifying pathways, monitoring their ongoing success, and maintaining relevant records.
The successful candidate will report to the Principal/Deputy Principal by providing regular updates of outcomes whilst maintaining records and identifying issues impacting on the success of the program. Statewide support and professional learning is available through the Director, Link and Launch.

About You
Our ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
In addition to the requirements specified in the attached Role Description, "Your Role" and "Your Opportunity" we are looking for someone who is able to:
- work collaboratively with existing school staff including the Principal, Deputy Principals, Guidance Officer, Heads of Department and School Leadership Team, as well as working in partnership with nearby schools
- has an awareness of / engagement with local youth support services
- has experience with working with older school students and / or young adults.
