The primary purpose of the Library Assistant is to provide a range of technical and clerical support activities associated with the effective operation of the library. Working with students is a major aspect of this position and the Library Assistant contributes to the care, general wellbeing and safety of students in the library in accordance with pastoral care principles in the tradition of an Edmund Rice school. A commitment to the ethos of the EREA School is essential. The position reports directly to the Teacher Librarian.
