About the Role

We are looking for a committed and inspiring Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our warm and supportive primary school in Preston. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping pupils flourish in a nurturing and purposeful learning environment.

You will play a key role in supporting high-quality teaching and learning, working closely with class teachers and contributing to the wider life of the school.

What You Will Do

  • Support the class teacher in delivering creative, engaging and well-structured lessons.
  • Provide targeted support for individuals or small groups to help pupils make strong progress.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom environment.
  • Assist with planning, preparation of resources and general classroom organisation.
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and families.
  • Uphold the school's commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing.

    • What We're Looking For

  • Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning.
  • Experience in a primary school setting is desirable but not essential.
  • A warm, approachable and proactive manner.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • A genuine desire to support children's learning, confidence and personal development.
