Specific Criteria
- Be supportive of the Catholic ethos of the school
- Special Education qualifications essential
- Understanding and willingness to work in an inclusive co-teaching model and collaborating within a K-12 framework.
- Knowledge in planning and creating adjustments to suit individual student needs.
- Ability to work with all levels of staff to implement policy and programs including DDA and Standards
- Good interpersonal and organisational skills
- Liaise with parents, carers, and outside agencies
- Identify, plan, and engage in professional learning both personally and with team members
- Applicants needs to demonstrate an understanding of the requirements of the National Consistent Collection of Data (NCCD)
Applicants who are not currently working in a Broken Bay systemic school must have a 4 year training qualification or be enrolled to undertake further study that will provide them with a four year trained qualification to be eligible to apply for any teaching position in the Diocese.
