Holy Spirit College is a Catholic co-educational secondary school located in the rapidly developing suburb of Fitzgibbon in North Brisbane, approximately 15km from Brisbane City. The College opened in January 2022 with 96 Year 7 students and will increase by one year level each year until it reaches Year 12. We currently have 335 students from years 7-9.

We are seeking creative, flexible and innovative professionals to work in an exciting, collaborative and dynamic environment.
We are seeking an in class Learning Support Officer to undertake a range of tasks in supporting the needs of students, under the direction of the teacher.
Duties include:
• general classroom support
• preparation of resources and clearing learning materials
• using technology to support learning activities
Ideally you will have:
• previous experience as a Learning Support Officer and/or hold a minimum a Cert 3 in Educational Support;
• proven communication and interpersonal skills;
• an understanding of the work of a school classrooms; and
• a willingness to work as part of a team.
You will also demonstrate an ability and initiative to apply your skills in supporting students to achieve successful learning outcomes.
To be eligible to be considered for this role you will:
- hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement;
- be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment; and
- have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education.
