About this job

The Learning Support and Development Coordinator works directly to the Heads of School and under the strategic leadership of the Director of Learning and Teaching. Faculty Coordinators are part of our ‘Learning and Teaching Leadership Team’ led by the Director of Learning and Teaching along with the Heads of School. This team provides Christian leadership, implementation of the strategic direction and day-to-day operations of the learning and teaching across the school. The Learning Support and Development Coordinator is responsible for the ongoing development and implementation of a rich and invigorating, Christ centred learning experience for students from Kindergarten to Year 12. They take the lead role in designing and implementing an authentic Christian curriculum in the Languages area across the School, which gives attention to: > the empowerment of children as active agents in their own learning; > the inclusion of the child’s world (family and community), and > a holistic approach to children’s growth and development. The Learning Support and Development Coordinator is a full-time Position of Responsibility 2 (PR2) and will undertake a 0.8FTE teaching load.
