Toorak College located in Mount Eliza on the stunning Mornington Peninsula has an opportunity for two teachers to join its Learning Enhancement team on a part time, fixed term basis in 2021.

Junior School – Semester 1, 2021 @ 0.5 time fraction

We are looking for a dynamic teacher with a passion for supporting students from Prep to Year 6. Specifically, they will provide enhancement opportunities (support and enrichment) so that students can pursue their potential in learning. This is a fixed term, replacement cover position for Semester 1, 2021.

Senior School – Term 1, 2021 @ 0.8 time fraction
For our Senior School, we also seek a dedicated teacher to support teachers and foster academic growth in identified students across Years 7 to 12. Working within a team of specialists to support learning and growth this is a long service leave replacement position for Term 1, 2021.

The successful applicants will possess:

  • Demonstrated effective work practices and professional expertise in the learning enhancement field in support and extension.
  • Extensive knowledge of a wide range of special education test instruments.
  • A proven ability in learning enhancement techniques in both literacy and numeracy and the ability to write and review Individual Education Plans.
  • Appropriate teaching qualifications, training and experience in the assessment and delivery of interventions in student learning.
