About the Role
The Leader of Wellbeing will guide the school’s wellbeing practices, ensuring that we create a safe and nurturing environment that supports student learning and personal development. In collaboration with the School Leadership Team, the Leader of Wellbeing will lead the implementation of evidence-based strategies and initiatives that enhance students' wellbeing, resilience, and academic success. The role also includes embedding child-safe policies and creating positive and predictable environments for all students, both physically and online
About You (selection criteria)
We are looking for someone who can meet following selection criteria:
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to lead and present information to staff and families, and foster open and respectful dialogue within the school community
- Demonstrated experience in leading and implementing wellbeing programs and strategies that promote a safe, inclusive, and positive school environment
- Experience in managing student behaviour, attendance, and academic care, with a strong focus on using data and evidence-based practices to improve student outcomes
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with staff, students, parents, and external agencies to create strong partnerships that support student wellbeing and academic success
- Appropriate tertiary qualifications and accreditation to teach in NSW
- Permanent teaching position with 3 point coordinator allowance
