Good Samaritan Catholic College is a Prep to Year 12 College located at Bli Bli on the Sunshine Coast. The College opened in 2019 and is steadily growing towards full enrolment of approximately 1500 students. The first seniors will graduate from the College in 2024. Good Samaritan Catholic College is seeking an enthusiastic Lead Facilities Officer to work within our Facilities Team.
The College requires that the successful applicant is reliable, punctual and hardworking. You will be able to work independently as well as possess the ability to lead and direct a team.
The successful applicant will be able to deliver a range of services including, but not limited to:
- Operational input into the planning, development and programming of scheduled maintenance works
- Prioritising and performing actions arising from maintenance request logs
- Landscaping and oval maintenance
- Maintenance of machinery, tools and other equipment
- Compliance with workplace health and safety practices including maintenance of a safe work environment, safe storage and handling of chemicals, fertilisers and fuels
- Supervise and manage the work of contractors on site
- Assist with a wide range of duties including cleaning of external areas, collection of waste and building security
Desirable attributes and credentials:
- A current driver’s licence
- Working at heights certification
- Trade background
- ACDC chemical licence
- Tractor driving experience
- Greenkeeping experience
