Supply Nursery Practitioner - Lancaster

Start Date: January 2026 Contract: Until February Half Term (with potential extension) Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Veritas Education is seeking an experienced Nursery Practitioner to join a school-led nursery in Lancaster. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about early years education and supporting young children in a nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality care and education for children aged 9 months to 4 years.
  • Work within either the Baby Room (9 months-2 years) or Preschool Room (3-4 years).
  • Support children's development in line with the EYFS framework.
  • Maintain a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment.
    • Requirements
  • Minimum Level 2 Childcare Qualification (EYFS).
  • Previous experience in a nursery setting, ideally in baby or preschool rooms.
  • Strong understanding of child development and safeguarding practices.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
