Veritas Education are currently recruiting reliable and hardworking Catering Staff to work across several secondary and primary schools in Burnley. These are ongoing roles with an immediate start available.

The Role:

  • Supporting school kitchens with food preparation and service
  • Assisting with lunch service, including serving pupils and staff
  • Maintaining high standards of hygiene and cleanliness
  • Washing up and general kitchen duties
  • Working as part of a friendly school catering team

    • Hours & Pay:

  • Monday to Friday
  • 10:00am - 3:00pm
  • Term-time only
  • Ongoing work available across multiple school sites

    • Requirements:

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
  • Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 1 or 2)
  • Previous catering or kitchen experience preferred but not essential
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Child workforce suitability
