Job Advert: Key Stage 1 SEN Intervention Teacher

Location: Clayton-Le-Moors Contract Type: Full-time, Contract Salary: Dependent on experience Start Date: ASAP

Role Overview: We are seeking a passionate and committed Key Stage 1 SEN Intervention Teacher to join our vibrant team. We are looking for an intervention teacher to plan and deliver lessons to a small group of KS1 children with additional SEN and behavioural needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement tailored intervention plans for students with SEN.
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers to create inclusive learning environments.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, adjusting interventions as needed.
  • Work closely with parents and external agencies to support student needs.
  • Provide professional development and guidance to staff on SEN strategies.
  • Foster a positive and engaging learning atmosphere.

    • Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience working with Key Stage 1 children, particularly those with SEN.
  • Strong understanding of various SEN needs and effective intervention strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • ECTS welcomed!
