The Invitation
Arndell Anglican College invites applications for the permanent fulltime position of Junior School Teacher, commencing Term 1 2025.
Reporting to the Stage Leader and Head of Junior School, the Junior School Teacher will collaborate with the stage teaching team, other teaching staff and teacher aides to encourage students to grow intellectually, spiritually, emotionally, and physically. In particular Junior School Teachers:
- Design interesting and engaging lessons for students with a wide range of learning abilities and styles.
- Deliver high quality content to students that is engaging and accessible.
- Encourage students to explore and express their creativity through different mediums, such as voice, instrumental, composition, ensembles, and bands.
- Provide students with clear and fair assessment, including regular, constructive feedback.
- Work collaboratively with others in implementing new curriculum and improving teaching practice.
- Play an active role in camps, co- and extra-curricular programs.

About You
As a Junior School Teacher, you hold qualifications in Education (Teaching) and are experienced in teaching across all Junior School stages, with the ability to teach Stage 3 highly desired but not essential.
You are goal oriented, highly organised, passionate about the education of young people, able to engage students who possess a range of interests and abilities, able to work collaboratively across the whole school, and are a person of Christian faith. With the expertise and enthusiasm to contribute to the Junior School your collaborative style and professionalism will see you build culture and community within a diverse and dynamic environment.
