About this job
We are looking for an Italian Teacher to join our collegial Languages team. In this temporary part-time role, you will help shape the educational journeys of our students, delivering engaging and impactful Italian lessons that inspire a love of learning.
Term 1, 2025 start - 0.5FTE for the 2025 academic year.
What you'll be doing
- Plan and deliver high-quality Italian lessons across Years 7-10.
- Develop innovative and engaging teaching resources and assessments to support student learning and achievement.
- Provide individualised feedback and support to students, helping them to reach their potential.
- Maintain accurate student records and comply with all school policies and procedures.
What we're looking for
- Relevant teaching qualifications and NESA accreditation.
- Strong subject matter expertise, with the ability to interpret data to adapt teaching methodologies to suit different learning styles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents and colleagues.
- A passion for ongoing professional development and a commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest pedagogy and technologies.
- A collaborative and solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
