About the opportunity:

As the International Student Program Coordinator you will contribute to the delivery of customer focused international services to clients of DE International through leadership and management of International Student Programs and related administrative processes and systems.

The International Student Program Coordinator reports to the Manager, International Student Programs, DE International.

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide accurate advice regarding international student programs and take responsibility for accurate completion of work.
  • Positively contribute to business improvement processes in the work unit and coordinate and assist with special projects.
  • In consultation with, and under the guidance of, management identify international client needs and develop and implement initiatives designed to improve efficiency and effectiveness within the team.
  • Ensure compliance with all Commonwealth and State Acts relating to the entry and completion of educational programs by international students and with policies and guidelines of the department.
  • Manage the use of a range of government processing system applications at an advanced level associated with international student programs to ensure overall quality client services.
  • Accurately input, maintain and manage data in international student management systems to ensure data integrity and to provide quality services to customers.
  • Analyse and resolve complex problems associated with international student programs through the assessment, validation, verification and auditing of required enrolment data.
  • Issue accurate and timely invoices for the various programs offered and maintain financial records management systems for the unit.
