Your Opportunity

As the Infrastructure Services Officer, you will provide operational information and advice and support to various areas of the department relating to the delivery of improved infrastructure solutions for Queensland's State Schools.

You will utilise your excellent organisational and communication skills to support the team across a broad range of programs and projects being delivered throughout Queensland.

The Infrastructure Services Officer reports to the Manager, Project Support Office.

Your Role

As the Infrastructure Services Officer, you will be responsible for, but not limited to the following in regards to the provision of operational and specialist advice and support to various areas of the department regarding infrastructure, planning and asset management related business activities, systems, policies, projects and programs of work:

  • Assist with the preparation, analysis and presentation of data to ensure regular and accurate reporting on related activities.
  • Manage operational issues to ensure identified outcomes and timelines are met.
  • Provide secretariat support to support project or program governance.
  • Maintain effective communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to support the day-to-day operations of the work team.
  • Undertake, from time to time, all other duties necessary to support the efficient and effective management of team objectives, timeframes and functions.

  • You're motivated- you understand contemporary facilities and asset management principles and practices and have confident communication skills to provide professional advice relevant to the tasks at hand across a variety of audiences.
