About the Role
Centenary State High School is seeking an Industry Liaison Officer to play a vital role in providing students with career pathways through School-Based Apprenticeships (ASBA) and vocational training opportunities.
In this role, you will:
- Actively source ASBA and student placements in industry to create valuable career opportunities.
- Promote the school's technical model to potential employers and stakeholders, positioning School-Based Apprenticeships as a preferred career pathway for students.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with employers, training providers, and apprenticeship support agencies.
- Develop connections and partnerships between the school and industry to help students transition smoothly into employment.
- Manage work experience programs, monitor students in the workplace, and maintain records in line with school policies.
- Collaborate with the Senior Schooling team to track students' progress and outcomes within the Vocational Education and Training pathway.
- Provide high-level client support to industry partners, ensuring continuous improvement in apprenticeship programs.
- Assist in student recruitment, induction, and work readiness programs, while ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and policies.
This role is ideal for a dynamic and proactive individual who is passionate about helping students succeed in their vocational careers and strengthening industry partnerships within the region.
